LOST AU video!!!!

I still can't believe how fast I edited this thing! Seriously... I thought I was gonna have a huge 'lack of clips' issue in my hands! Thanks God I was wrong... I mean, as the editing progressed, I started checking out the clips I had, looking for a few Jack scenes that could actually fit the whole 'grief' mood I wanted for the vid! I ended up finding a better material that I could have ever hoped for... there were some scenes I didn't even know I had! How freaky is that?!

Anyway... I have to give a couple special 'thank you' notes: thanks to [info]vamptinkerbell for suggesting me this great song (I already knew it from 'Dawson's Creek' but I'd never really thought about it for LOST)... and [info]di_br, honey! Thanks a lot for watching it first and giving me the thumbs up!

Okay! I'll shut up now... oh! Please remember it's an AU video!!! So, if anybody who doesn't watch LOST actually watch this video, don't take it seriously! Meaning... Kate doesn't die on the show!

summary: Kate died on the last "Others" attack... Jack gets absolutely devasted for not being able to save her... not ready to let go, he still feels her spirit around, telling him not to say goodbye...

God! I'm nervous about this video!!! I'm so incredibly proud of it, I really am... I honestly hope you like it as much as I do!

Ok, now about the video...

FAN*frelling*TASTIC! I absolutely loved that first b/w sequence of Kate dying and Jack trying to save her. That was absolutely brilliant! And all the scenes with poor Jack were amazing as well. My favorite was the one from that scene where Kate is taking care of his wound, and you just showed Jack's expression and that tear that falls from his eyes whem he remembered her... Amazing!

Oh and that one clip of Kate saying "good night"? *tear* Really, really sweet and touching. Perfect way to end the vid.

One word: masterpiece. ;)

Dude! That actually was the first scene I thought about when I was still planning the vid... I watched the pilot again on Monday and when I saw this scene again, bam! I knew I had to use it...

Ana, you are phenomenal. Words always fail me when a vid is so terrific, so please forgive me if I don't say enough. The whole vid is just perfect, but the scene of Jack on the water's edge that turns to b/w when Kate walks up was just brilliant. The ending took me from tears to a grin, and I just love it. I've just decided that I'm going to re-do my recs set-up because between your LOST vids and Di's HP vids, I'm going to need separate pages to list them all.

Thank you for such a moving and beautiful vid.

The ending is one of my favourite parts... that was one of the last scenes I downloaded! I'd remebered Jack falling asleep in it and I thought of using it when the song reached the "Don't you fear when you dream..." part! I watched the whole thing first and when I saw Kate saying 'Good night', I almost fell of my chair! It was the perfect ending...

Man... I'm so relieved!!! I mean, to me it was a great idea for an AU but I was so affraid that people wouldn't get it! Thanks god I had the right clips! Aaahhhh... I feel very giddy right now!!!

That video was the sweetest/saddest thing ever! *dies* The part at the end where Jack is crying and then Kate says "Goodnight" ohmigoshsquee!

oh my lord...
There aint much in life that makes me cry.. but ive been crying for the last 10 minutes after watching that video.. its amazing!! the best ive seen of lost music vids!
