I started reading book 1 (City Of Bones) about a month ago and wasn't reeeeally feeling it at first, but halfway through it, the damn book got me! And a bunch of people told me it gets even better during books 2 and 3, so...

Now that I'm almost done, I dunno what to do... because my brother came back from the US and he got me Catching Fire, book 2 of the Hunger Games series, which I LOVE and am dying to read! But I'm also super curious about Mortal Instruments too...

Actually I've been back for a few days now, but I only got to post about it now... my bad!

Oh my, New York was AMAZING! I absolutely loooooved that city with all my heart! I mean it... and that coming from a big city girl, who should not have been that impressed...

Seriously, it's pretty much everything São Paulo could've been, but it's not... it's cleaner and prettier and organized and it just works! You Americans might not thing so, but to me it just does... I don't really know how to explain it...

Gosh... those were like the fastest, shortest 4 days of my life! I'm not kidding...

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to di_br and delennbr for asking me to go with you! I'll be forever thankful for it! ^_^

Yes, Di has invited me to come along with her and her friend Carol on their 10-day trip to the US... I wish I could go on the whole thing, but because of work I can't!

But I will get to spend 4 awsome days with them... in NEW YORK CITY, BABY!!!! *rockstar!*

We leave this Friday, November 27th, and we'll be staying throughout the whole Thanksgiving weekend! Ugh, so exciting!

It's my first time, you guys... I'm a foreign virgin! I've never been outside this god forsaken country of mine... and not only do I finally get to go, but it's to one of my top 5 places I've always wanted to visited! Like EVER!

Omg, I'm so freakin' excited I can't barely think! And that is so NOT the best thing for me... because I'm right in the middle of finals week! AND IT'S THE FINALS WEEK OF DOOM, PEOPLE!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA...

So, I gotta run! Will be back in December, after NY... and I promise to bring goodies! ^_^

# I've been pissed off and stressed out with pretty much everything in my life lately...

# When finally the 3-day Halloween weekend got here, I get sick (considering I haven't been sick since... well, all year basically - why now, damn it!!!)...

# Work is starting to become a bit boring and some days I feel like quitting and I don't know why...

# My so-called "video editing partner" is becoming completely indifferent about our original trailer project and is leaving me to do all the work alone... AGAIN! (I already had to do an entire film analysis on LOTR and he didn't do squat!)...

But you know, if that's the way he wants it... he can have it! I'm not gonna chase him anymore, he'll have to chase me...
I'm giving up practically all my weekends to do college work and I'm just SICK of playing the patron saint to everyone, specially those who keep taking advantage of me...

I'm gonna do this my way! If he want in, he'll better deal with it!

... I'm, like, the worst LJ friend ever, aren't I???

Gosh, I so wanted to post more often. I really do. My stupid college/work schedule is just killing my online life... not to mention my social life too...

I mean it, I'm starting to get incredibly frustrating of how dull and uneventful my life is turning up... there's maybe only a couple of real great things happening right now, none which I can say are 100% sure yet (and that is even more frustrating)...

Work is going good, I can't really complain... I'm entering that dreaded 2-month period of the internship where everything you do is exactly the same (those who have already been interns know what I'm talking about) and it all starts to get incredibly boring!
I'm trying to show up with my head held high and make the most of it... but some days are just too damn bland!

And college... god! It's college that I can't take anymore! Seriously, I simply HATE going to all my classes this semester! They all suck!
The only good thing right now is that I'll get to do some more video editing again... and that is only because my friend and I convinced the teacher to let us do it. Otherwise, it would've been a disaster!

I'm trying to squeeze in as much distractions as I possibly can... I've been walking around with my iPod filled with TV downloads and some I'm not even watching, just listening to what's happening. It's weird, but it's how I've been managing to keep up with everything...

And speaking of tv... I do have to thanks some of you for introducing me to MERLIN

Like Glee and my beloved Supernatural, this damn show has been putting a smile on face every week and that is keeping me from totally losing it! So thank you, Merlin fans! =D

HEY EVERYBODY!!!!!
I'm not dead... as you may have noticed... I was just going through what I what I've affectionately called the "2 Weeks Of Hell!"

Seriously, college almost killed me this time... okay, too over dramatic! But it did leave me incredibly sleep deprived for 10 days... which for me, being me, wasn't the best thing =(

But it was mostly my fault anyway... my biggest class project was a film analysis in which I, stubbornly enough, decided to do on 'The Lord Of The Rings' (come on! I've seen it like 30 times, know it by heart, have the extended DVD editions... why not right?)

Except I ended up focusing all my attention on the damn thing and it ended up being more work than I thought it would be... which resulted into me sleeping less than 2 hours a night for almost 10 days!

And there was also like 3 more projects to work on, 2 tests AND the internship stuff to worry about... I mean, seriously! I didn't get to go to swim class, I ate whatever was easier, I had to turn to freakin' Red Bull to help me stay up!

So yeah, let's just say I pretty much didn't even have time to THINK these last few days! =( That's how bad things got...


But THANK GOD IT'S OVER!!!

Now I still got a couple more show to catch up on... ugh, it's so good getting to watch them properly... I've had to load all episode in my iPod and watch whenever I could (mostly during boring classes and during lunch breaks! =p)

But from what I did get to see so far...

The goods:
1. Supernatural = still ROCKS my world!!!
2. House = simply GREAT!
3. The Big Ban Theory = *adorkable!*
4. GLEE = best thing on tv in years! =D
5. Grey's Anatomy = bittersweet... but good!
6. Community = I'm loving this more and more every week... plus, I LOVE Joel McHale!

As for the bads... I've decided I'm dumping:
1. One Tree Hill = the premiere was one of the most boring episodes EVER... I wouldn't be surprised if it got canned before the end of the year!
2. Heroes = the premiere was kinda good, let's face it... but they HAVE to pick things up! If not, it's bye bye for me!

HI EVERYONE!!!!

I know, I know... I've been the worst flister ever! I'm sorry, I really am... I did want to post more often these last couple weeks, but with the new job and college, my days have been kinda wacky!

ANYWAAAAYYYY, things are going good. At the internship at least. College on the other hand, just SUCKS this semester! No, seriously... it's the worst semester so far! There's not a single class I'm enjoying and this is really getting under my skin!

But enough with the bad stuff... the internship is going great! Only 2 weeks of work and I've already managed to make my first Flash animated banner AND... I've also had my first banner posted online! YAY!!!

Though, I kinda need to step up my game now... after all, they'll probably be giving me a lot of Flash stuff from now on... and I still don't know a lot about it (stupid ActionScript!) So yeah, still gotta study!

Okay... 3 days in at the new job...
It's going pretty great so far! I've only started really working today, which was expected... internships are like that... but even by just sitting there, reading a whole bunch of Flash tutorials throughout the entire afternoon, I really enjoyed myself!

The place is great, the people are even greater... everybody loves movies and music and pop culture, they're always cracking up jokes and stuff... it's just fun there!

I may feel insecure about my technical knowledge on web design (and working on a Mac, which I think I'm handling pretty well =p)... but I figure if I show them I can kick ass at Photoshop, maybe they'll let the Flash thing go and give me a bunch of regular graphics to work on =p


But anyway... it's tiring, yes, and a bit sleep depriving (I get home almost at 9pm now, only to wake up again at 6am to go to college) and I do miss having my days to myself... but I'm very positive about it all!

I feel grown up for the first time in ages =)
